Working Group on AI in political science
05:17 - By Luciana Alexandra Ghica
Artificial Intelligence (AI) already has a significant impact on society and science, promising outstanding advancements.
At the same time, there are major ethical and scientific integrity concerns related to its use, which is still largely unregulated, including in political research and teaching.
RC33 members interested in such puzzles are invited to join its new working group on AI in political science.
REGISTER HERE to become a member.
Mission
- develop research, teaching tools, and guidelines on the use of AI in political science and related (sub)disciplines;
Expected outcomes

- publications on the topic, including within the RC33 book series;
A first collective volume on the use of AI in political science will be published in the RC33 book series (with panels within the IPSA World Congress 2027 for presenting preliminary versions of the chapters, and a roundtable for presenting the Code of conduct / standards).
